What is Teens in the Green?
Teens in the Green is a weekend retreat, devotional and opportunity for fellowship with like-minded teens. This event is hosted by the elders and members of the West End Church of Christ in Bowling Green, KY.
Who should come to Teens in the Green?
The lessons, singing, and social events are designed for ages 13-19 (teenagers) who want to take a step back from the worries and distractions of daily life, grow in their faith, and be encouraged by other spiritually-minded teens.
When is Teens in the Green 2024?
This year's retreat is from Friday, July 19th - Sunday, July 21st. A more detailed schedule is coming soon!
Where is the retreat located?
The lessons are at 300 Blue Level Rd. Bowling Green, KY 42101. The social events are held at the homes of our members.
I need a ride and/or a place to stay while I'm at Teens in the Green. Who should I contact?
Please let us know if you need lodging or transportation on the registration form. For those needing housing, registration will close on July 13th. For those who do not need housing, registration will close at the start of the event.
Members of the church will be hosting teens in their home and providing transportation to the church building and social events. If you would like to room with a friend, please note that on the registration form as well. (We will do our best to accommodate this request, but cannot guarantee it.) All attendees will be responsible for getting to Bowling Green, but once you're here, we can accommodate you! If you are driving yourself, please remember that you must have parental permission to give any other teen a ride.
What should I bring to the retreat?
In addition to things you'd pack for any overnight trip, you may want to bring a sleeping bag, a pillow, snacks, and a water bottle. And, of course, your Bible! If you'd like to wear something more casual to the social events, it's a good idea to pack a change of clothes. Modest shorts are fine.
Does it cost anything to attend?
Teens in the Green is absolutely FREE. The transportation, lodging, and social events are funded individually by members of the congregation. However, Teens in the Green is growing and donations are appreciated! Please see the registration form for more information or email us.

Why should I come to Teens in the Green?
This is a wonderful opportunity for teens to be strengthened in their faith, make new friends and reconnect with old ones!
Do you accept donations?
Yes! Teens in the Green is free for attendees, and social events are funded individually by members of the West End church family. Monetary donations are used to help with the cost of meals and supplies for the evening social events.
